For AUD $32 a night, the hotel offers a room with all essential amenities like air conditioning, TV, coffee/tea, and a spa bath, though the view overlooks a dam. The room had a bad odor after a while due to poor maintenance, but given the price, it didn't bother me much.
The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. It's a bit far from the beach and nightlife, with loose wall tiles and moldy wood in the bathroom, but the balcony is a nice touch. The service had its ups and downs, with delayed check-in and an interesting compulsory Facebook check-in policy, yet they did offer shuttle services. The location provides a peaceful retreat away from the chaos, with a good balance between convenience and quietness. The dining experience, although lacking in buffet options, had a lovely ambiance.
